Set Up DeepL Translator

To integrate the DeepL Translation service with ClickHelp, you will need an API key, which can be obtained from your DeepL account. This topic will guide you through getting an API key and configuring it in ClickHelp.

Getting a DeepL API Key

Follow these steps below to get your API Key:

  1. Sign up for the DeepL API. DeepL offers two API plans: Free and Pro. Select the appropriate plan based on your needs. Select DeepL API Plan.
When using the DeepL API Free plan, your translations may be used to train and improve DeepL's AI models. If you handle confidential or sensitive data, we recommend using the DeepL API Pro plan, which ensures your data is not used for training purposes. For more details, review: DeepL API Terms and DeepL Privacy Policy
  2. After setting up your account, navigate to your Account page.Open your account page.
  3. Switch to the API Keys & Limits tab. Here you can create a new API key for integration with ClickHelp. To do so, click the Create key button and enter a name for the key. Alternatively, you may use one of the existing API keys.

Create or copy your API key.
