Google Analytics
| Since Google is terminating support for Universal Analytics since July 1st, 2023, ClickHelp will no longer support it as well. This topic is about connecting GA4 property. |
This topic explains how to connect Google Analytics to your ClickHelp portal. Simply follow the steps:
- Create a Google Analytics account if you don't have one here.
- Get a Measurement ID (Google tag ID) from your Google Analytics account by following these steps.

Go to
Portal Settings → Reporting & Analytics → Google Analytics.

Select Enable Google Analytics 4 integration.
- Insert your Measurement ID (Google tag ID) into the Measurement ID box.
- Click Save Changes.
Now, you will find the statistics filling your Google Analytics. Note that it may take up to several days for the data to appear in your Google Analytics account, and the data will be gathered only for publications; Contributors' views of the topics will be ignored.
