Select Topic Editor
In ClickHelp, depending on your use case, you can work with topics' content using either Block-Based Topic Editor or Advanced Topic Editor.
By default, the system uses Advanced Topic Editor for all your new topics. However, you can select the Block-based Topic Editor for specific topics during the topic creation process. For this, you need to choose the corresponding option in the Create New Topic dialog:
Once a topic editor is selected for a topic, it cannot be changed later. If you decide to use a different type of editor later, you will need to create a new topic with another editor selected, and copy-paste the existing content there. |
If you want to use only the Block-based Topic Editor for some projects, you can make it easier to select the editor for new topics by setting it as the default editor in the project settings:
