ClickHelp User Manual

Using Project Templates

ClickHelp has a number of ready project templates that define content styles and help you get beautiful online content with little effort. You can use those templates when importing your MS Word content into ClickHelp.

To achieve this effect, follow these steps:

  1. Create a new project. In the wizard, select any template you want.
  2. Now start the importing wizard and specify your created project as the target for the imported content. In this case, your MS Word content will go into the project you created on step 1, rather than to a new project.
  3. In the importing wizard, choose the Do not import styles mode. This mode clears the styles, but leaves the element types. Since the majority of the template styles are element-based, the imported content will use those styles automatically.
  4. Proceed with the importing wizard.

This approach will help you import multiple MS Word documents into the same project, while making sure the content uses the template styles.
