WriteAssist – AI Writing Assistant
ClickHelp WriteAssist is an AI companion built into our topic editor, designed to make writing and editing documents easier. It can create new topics, simplify or improve your existing text, adjust its tone, and fix spelling and grammar errors.
Using WriteAssist
WriteAssist is available only in the topic editor. You can access AI help in two ways:

Through a small pop-up after selecting text and clicking on the Ask AI button.
- Using the Ask AI button on the Home tab of the ribbon.
When you call WriteAssist while text is selected, you can ask it to edit the selected content or generate new content. When no text is selected, you can only request new content.
The selected content and the query text are sent to a third-party service. Please be mindful of this when working with sensitive content.
Since a third-party service generates responses, they may be inaccurate. Always review the response. |
- Each contributor can make up to 30 requests per day.
- All users combined can make a total of 300 requests per day.
- You can send a maximum of 2,000 characters per request, including the underlying HTML. As a result, the visible selected text may appear shorter.
- Custom prompts cannot exceed 500 characters.
