How to Restart Numbered Lists

Numbers in numbered lists are updated automatically when you add or remove list items. However, sometimes, it's needed to change the numbering order. In this topic you'll learn how to do it in ClickHelp's Advanced Topic Editor.

To change the number for a list item, place the text cursor inside the element content and click the gear icon in the Tag Inspector panel, as shown on the screenshot:

In the Element Properties dialog, you can change the Value field to specify the number you need. Subsequent list items will be renumbered automatically.
