ClickHelp User Manual
Use @mention in Review Comments
In ClickHelp, you can draw the attention of a user who is not actively working on the topic to a particular piece of content by mentioning them in a Review Comment.
Mentioning someone is really simple:
- When writing a Review Comment, type @.
- Start typing the name or username of the user you'd like to mention.
You can mention only users who have access to the project you mention them in. - Select the user from the popup list.
- Repeat steps 1-3 for as many users as you need to mention.
- Add/save the comment.
As a result, the mentioned user(s) will receive a corresponding notification and will automatically become a Watcher of the topic that contains that Review Comment.
Using Markdown to @mention Users
It's also possible to use the Markdown syntax to mention users. It will look like this:
[{display_name}][@{user_name}], e.g., [John Doe][@johndoe].
In this case, that text will be rendered as @John Doe, and the user, whose login name is johndoe, will receive a notification.
