Keeping in mind the unprecedented situation of 2020, many events have decided to shift to virtual. This comes as no surprise, particularly considering that over 90% of event marketers plan to invest in digital experiences in the future.
We have performed small-scale research in our Telegram channel for technical writers to find out what tech writers think about such online conferences. According to this study, 27,5 % of respondents like to visit online conferences, another 27,5 % prefer offline format, for 38,5 % it doesn’t matter as long as they’re free of charge, and a small amount of 6,5 % consider any conference as a waste of time.
Conferences and events are places with numerous opportunities for an attendee, so research and plan well before you attend any event.
