Fresh year – fresh start! It’s time to shape up your future and grasp a chance to communicate or collaborate with scientists, research scholars, and industry leaders from various regions. Keep in mind that some events from this list will be updated or rescheduled.

February

Effective Technical Writing and Editing is an online course dedicated to the foundations of tech writing. The course brings together attendees involved or interested in writing or editing scientific and medical texts, technical documents, documents for regulatory submissions, texts about pharmaceutical and veterinary products and medical devices. The event will be held on February 01-02.

UX Writer Conference is an entirely virtual event for those who consider user experience central to their work as technical writers. It will include breakout sessions, one-on-one networking, and unconference activities within a secure, password-protected space. The event is hosted on a custom platform where attendees can listen to their chosen talks or hang around in the reception area on February 21-22.

If you are a product manager, you might be interested in ProductCon London, where you delve into the future of product management. The event is organized by Product School and structured around the hottest topics in Product Management. ProductCon takes place four times per year in London, New York (May 18), San Francisco (October 19), and online. It gathers product professionals from all over the world. Mind you – the agendas differ, so spare time to study them and choose the one you’d like to listen to. The London event takes place on February 21-22.

At the MEGAComm, you can discuss the challenges you face and how to defeat them, from overcoming new work conditions to mastering new concepts and applications and focusing on tomorrow’s promises. March

Nordic TechKomm is the conference on user experience and technical communication. The main topic this year will be “Next generation.” Expect an ambitious program presented by international expert speakers covering topics such as User Experience, Intelligent Content, Delivery of information, and many more. Visit Stockholm on March 21-22.

The MarTech Conference will put you up to the tools, technologies, and strategies that can help you satisfy your customers’ expectations. The event is for marketers, and you might get some insights here. Attend this online event for free on March 28-29. But don’t feel bad if you miss this event in spring; you’re welcome to visit it in fall (26-27th of September).

April

SaaS Connect is the single event for SaaS companies, platforms, API services, channels, distributors, resellers, app stores, and investors. The agenda affords a great networking opportunity. Get to know the top business development people in San Francisco on April 19-20!

Survey the hardware, software, and cloud landscapes, as leaders from the world’s largest organizations and most exciting startups assemble with one goal in mind: to share how they’re creating, deploying and scaling cutting-edge AI systems to create immense business value. AI Accelerator Summit awaits you on April 26-27.

Confab has a little something for everyone working in the content management field. While the main focus of the conference is content strategy, anyone creating, designing, or managing content can learn a lot from the experts and authors sharing their knowledge on ways to make online content better and more user-friendly. The conference welcomes you in Minneapolis, April 30–May 3.

May

Explore the art and science of documentation at WriteTheDocs Portland. An in-person conference with a free live stream of the talks to share some insights and experience. At the conference, you’ll be acquainted with the ideas and use cases from technical writers, developers, UX designers, community managers, or support professionals who care about content and communication. Book a spot on May 7-9.

Women in Tech Global Conference is a hybrid conference that brings women in tech from all over the world through an interactive platform featuring live educational and training content, keynotes, engaging panels, breakout rooms, technical workshops, and networking with virtual and in-person sessions. Join the event on May 9-12.

STC Technical Communication Summit. Attend educational sessions on numerous topics with a variety of formats and experience levels, meet like-minded colleagues and partners from numerous companies, explore Atlanta and attend fun social events planned with the local chapter members on May 14-17.

UXLx conference is for those who want to stay up-to-date with the latest UX practices and trends. The experts’ talks will make you get back to work with that extra boost of inspiration. Besides, Lisbon is especially beautiful in spring, so take time on May 23 to 26.

June

Whether you’re a C-level, a developer, a content strategist, or a marketer — there’s something for you at DrupalCon. It is a mission-centric program of the Drupal Association designed to bring people together through in-person and virtual events. An in-person educational event will be taken place in Pittsburgh on June 5-8.

Evolution of TC is about innovations in software documentation. The event should have taken place eight months ago but was postponed to this June. The topics discussed are information modeling, API documentation and continuous delivery, UX writing, metadata/taxonomy, and many more. Join the professionals in the industry in June, 6-7.

ContentTECH Summit is for professionals dealing with content, technology, and strategy. At ContentTECH Summit, you’ll learn about the most meaningful tech tools and strategies for your content program and how to use them to their fullest potential. Save the date: June 20-22.

July

We have already mentioned ProductCon here. On the 20th of July, this event takes place online, recreating the feel of an in-person event without the hassle of travel; you’ll be able to watch presentations, access slides, interact with speakers, and network with fellow attendees.

August

At Microsoft 365EduCon Seattle, you’ll see the world-leading experts in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Power Platform, and Azure. The subject matter is divided into tracks, and each session is designated for beginner, intermediate or advanced. Tracks are offered for the following subjects: SharePoint, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure, Teams, OneDrive, Search, Content Management, Power Users, Business Value, Implementation/Administration, Workflow, Business Intelligence, SharePoint Development, and more. Learn on August 21-25.

September

Write the Docs Atlantic is a new conference in a similar online format to the virtual conferences held in 2021 and 2022. Further details of the Atlantic CFP will be announced later in 2023. Follow the news and set the date – September 10-12.

IST Technical Conference 2023 supports the technical workforce in creative, digital, engineering, and science technologies. Track info on their site and save the date in your diary – 13th Sept.

October

If you’d like to understand the emerging software trends and learn from software leaders at early adopter companies on practices to inspire your decisions, workflows, and roadmap, visit QCon San Francisco on 2-6 October.

The ASTC Conference is scheduled to be held on October 12-13 in Melbourne. The event will provide a face-to-face experience and a hybrid option for those unable to attend in person. Be sure to keep an eye on their page for updates.

Lavacon Content Strategy Conference will be held on 14-17 October in San Diego. It is a great combination of topics and presenters that have their finger on the pulse of the industry. You can subscribe to receive conference updates.
