Your documentation used to just sit there.
You wrote it. You published it. Maybe someone read it. But things have changed.
Your documentation is no longer just written and published—it’s a living, collaborative workspace used by teams across countries and time zones. It helps your customers solve problems, powers integrations, and shapes how your product is understood worldwide.
This release marks the start of ClickHelp AI Suite: our commitment to building fast, practical, and transparent AI tools that scale with your team. It introduces a unified usage model — ClickHelp AI Points (CAPs) — designed to grow with future features and remove complexity from how you plan and work with AI.
Combined with enhanced DeepL translation, this update helps your docs stay ahead of growing demands — with smarter tools, better answers, and less overhead for your team.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new.
Introducing ClickHelp AI Suite: Smarter Docs, Backed by Smarter Tools
Over the past year, we’ve introduced powerful AI features to help teams write faster, support users better, and find information more easily. With this release, we’re taking the next step: launching ClickHelp AI Suite — a new paid add-on that brings all AI tools together and lays the foundation for what’s next.
This isn’t just packaging. It’s a statement.
We believe AI should be a practical, everyday part of your documentation workflow — not a gimmick or an experiment. That’s why we’re investing in building AI tools that are fast, accurate, easy to use, and transparently priced.
To make that possible, AI Suite introduces ClickHelp AI Points (CAPs) — a single, easy-to-understand usage system. No guessing how much a query costs. No worrying about token limits. Just clear, predictable operations.
What Is ClickHelp AI Points (CAPs)?
Think of CAPs as your internal currency for AI-powered features — a straightforward system that removes the guesswork from using AI features. You don’t need to calculate tokens or characters. Each operation has a fixed, transparent cost.
For now:
- Every AI Suite subscription includes a 30,000 CAPs monthly limit by default.
- 1 AnswerGenius request = 10 CAPs
- Other tools will transition to CAP-based usage soon.
CAPs reset automatically at the start of each month, and you can upgrade limit if your team needs more.
Why CAPs?
- You always know how much an operation will cost.
- You won’t have to juggle different limits across tools.
- You get one predictable system that scales with your usage — and your team.
AnswerGenius: Built to Scale
After months of real-world testing and feedback, AnswerGenius has proven its value— helping teams reduce support load and making documentation more useful to end users. Now it’s taking the next step: becoming the first feature included in our new paid add-on, ClickHelp AI Suite.
To make this transition smooth, all current customers will continue to have free access to AnswerGenius until September 1, 2025. No changes required.
This grace period gives you time to experience the benefits and plan ahead — while we continue improving the entire AI experience across the platform.
Ask Your Docs (Beta): A New Way to Talk to Your Docs
In addition to AnswerGenius for your readers, we’re introducing a new tool built specifically for you: Ask Your Docs — an AI assistant that helps contributors instantly find answers across all documentation content, including drafts and unpublished topics.
Ever asked yourself, “Did we already write this somewhere?” With Ask Your Docs, you no longer have to dig — just ask your question and get contextual results pulled from your entire portal.
No setup. No fine-tuning. Just clear answers when you need them.
This isn’t just another search box — it’s a conversation with your content.
Available now in beta for contributor accounts and operates under separate daily limits. It’s not yet part of ClickHelp AI Suite — but we’re planning to bring everything together soon.
DeepL Integration: Translate With the Tool You Already Trust
If you work across regions or serve customers globally, translation matters. And when it comes to machine translation, accuracy isn’t a nice-to-have — it’s the difference between clarity and confusion.
With DeepL now integrated into ClickHelp, you get one of the world’s most trusted translation engines right inside your workflow.
No more exporting, copying, or switching tools — just connect your DeepL API key, and translate topics inside the platform in a couple of clicks. Multilingual documentation demands less effort, repetitive tasks get automated, and localization becomes easier — whether you’re a small team or managing content across multiple regions.
